Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (microwaved on high for 3 minutes to ensure safety)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/4 cups mini chocolate chips, divided
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups melted white chocolate
Directions
1. Prepare the Pan
- Grease an 8” or 9” square pan with cooking spray.
- Line it with parchment paper, leaving overhangs for easy removal later.
2. Make the Cookie Dough
- In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Add the flour (after microwaving) and kosher salt; mix until well combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of mini chocolate chips.
3. Prepare the Fudge Mixture
- In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the melted white chocolate until fully combined and smooth.
- Fold this mixture into the prepared cookie dough until evenly incorporated.
4. Assemble the Fudge
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips over the top for decoration.
5. Chill and Set
- Refrigerate the fudge for about 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang.
6. Slice and Serve
- Cut into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Tips for Success
- Microwave the Flour: Heating the flour ensures it’s safe to eat raw. Alternatively, toast it in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Chocolate Options: Switch up the mini chocolate chips with dark or milk chocolate chips for a twist.
- Custom Toppings: Add sprinkles, crushed cookies, or a drizzle of melted chocolate for extra flair.
