Ingredients:
- 17.5 oz (500 g) mixture of mince
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 large head of onion
- 4 potatoes
- 4 oz (120 g) cheese
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2/5 cup (100 g) sour cream
- Salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 3 cloves garlic
- Black pepper (to taste)

- In a bowl, combine the mince with grated garlic cloves, basil, 1 tbsp sour cream, black pepper, and salt to taste. Knead thoroughly and set aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until softened. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Peel and finely dice the hard-boiled eggs. Mix them with mayonnaise until homogeneous.
- Form 8 flattened round meatballs from the mince mixture and place them on an oiled tray with space in between.
- Top each meatball with braised onions, followed by the egg/mayo mixture.
- Grate the potatoes and season with salt and black pepper. Pile them on top of the meatballs.
- Grate the cheese and sprinkle it over the potatoes. Spread a little sour cream on top for a soft cheesy crust.
- Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C). Bake the dish for about 40-45 minutes until it forms a golden crust.
