This adorable Reindeer Candy recipe is a quick and fun holiday treat, perfect for Christmas parties or as a festive family activity. Made with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, pretzel sticks, red M&Ms, and candy eyes, these little reindeer are irresistibly cute and delicious!
Ingredients
- 10 Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, unwrapped
- ¼ cup chocolate chips (for “glue”)
- 20 pretzel sticks (for antlers)
- 10 red M&Ms (for noses)
- 20 candy eyes
Instructions
1. Prepare the Candy Base
- Unwrap the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and place them upside-down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
2. Melt the Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 15-second intervals, stirring between each interval until fully melted and smooth.
3. Assemble the Antlers
- On the parchment paper, place a dab of melted chocolate and press two pretzel sticks into it to form the reindeer’s antlers.
- Add another drop of melted chocolate on top of the pretzels and press a Reese’s cup into place.
4. Add the Face Features
- Use the melted chocolate to attach:
- Candy eyes: Dab small amounts of chocolate near the top of the Reese’s and press on the candy eyes.
- Red M&M nose: Place a larger dab of chocolate at the bottom center of the Reese’s and attach a red M&M.
5. Harden the Chocolate
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, allowing the chocolate to set and harden completely.
Notes
- Use a lollipop stick or toothpick to precisely apply melted chocolate for the finer details, like attaching the eyes and nose.
- For added fun, substitute the red M&Ms with colorful ones to make a variety of reindeer “personalities.”
