  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 lb. floor beef sirloin (90% lean)
  • 3/4 lb. floor beef chuck (80% lean)
  • 6 slices American or Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c. New Mexican Connection Inexperienced Chile diced
  • 6 of your favourite hamburger buns, cut up and toasted


  1. Warmth grill on medium-high.
  2. In small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  3. In giant bowl, gently mix sirloin and chuck and type into 6 (4-inch-wide) patties. Sprinkle either side with salt combination.
  4. Grill burgers 3 minutes; flip over. High every with slice of cheese. Cowl and cook dinner 3 minutes or till desired and cheese has melted.
  5. High every with 2 tablespoons inexperienced chiles – (or extra for the chile addict)
  6. Serve on buns.
